Amy Engelsen

Amy Engelsen is the head of Supply Chain Strategy at Principal Mineral. With over 12 years of experience supporting industrial and energy markets, she is a supply chain leader with deep expertise in critical minerals including rare earths, base metals, manganese, and battery materials. She spent nearly a decade at BASF, advancing from Process Engineer to Global Category Manager, overseeing complex global supply chains and sourcing strategies. Most recently, Amy served as Rare Earths and Manganese Commodity Manager at Ford Motor Company, strengthening supply resilience in constrained markets. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
