Heather French

Heather has built her career helping global public and private companies navigate transformation, complex transactions, and high-stakes legal and business opportunities. Most recently, she served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Global Healthcare Exchange, leading M&A, corporate finance, risk management, compliance, and board matters, including the company’s sale to Veritas Capital. At American Capital (Nasdaq: ACAS), she helped build the in-house legal function and guided the young fund on its path to the S&P 500 and its eventual $4.1 billion sale to Ares Management (NYSE: ARES) and affiliates. At Western Union (NYSE: WU), she directed global M&A, including a $910 million divestiture, oversaw a legal team spanning seven countries, and advised on a $150 million global transformation. She started her career in private practice at Akin Gump and Littler Mendelson and earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center and her BA with Distinction from the University of Wisconsin.
