Kinjal Gandha

Kinjal Gandha, PhD, is Vice President of Innovation at Principal Mineral and a materials science leader with over a decade of experience in rare earth permanent magnets and advanced manufacturing. Her expertise spans the full magnet lifecycle, including alloy development, strip casting, powder processing, sintering, coating, recycling, and additive manufacturing. Previously at MP Materials, she helped establish U.S. NdFeB magnet production and led process optimization and closed-loop recycling. At DOE’s Ames National Laboratory, she advanced Mine-to-Magnets initiatives and 3D-printed magnet technologies. She holds a PhD in Physics & Applied Physics.
